Graduates
Former students have come from around the world with varied backgrounds. Some from related industries, many with no design experience, but all with a desire to learn and a passion for design. Our graduates have found continued success in a number of interior design disciplines, including various sectors in design and architectural companies, property development, and in some cases their own practices.
ALEXANDER KALLENBACH
Diploma 2019
Alexander was raised in a world of home design, within a family interior decoration business.
He has a great insight into every aspect of the interior from the internal space planning to the detailed furnishings. Following his passion for interiors, he completed an apprenticeship in
interior decoration, with the main focus on upholstery, finishing with a study of interior design at the “Fachschule des Möbelhandels” in Cologne. Alexander has a leaning towards Scandinavian and minimal design and loves the particular Style of the Bauhaus Period. His ambition is to work within the hotel design sector and be involved with international projects and learn more from other cultures. After graduating Alex worked for a variety of Design practices and now is a senior Interior Designer with the Ruby Hotel group
