Former students have come from around the world with varied backgrounds. Some from related industries, many with no design experience, but all with a desire to learn and a passion for design. Our graduates have found continued success in a number of interior design disciplines, including various sectors in design and architectural companies, property development, and in some cases their own practices.
Sarah graduated with distinction in the Interiors and Spatial Design MA Degree at UAL Chelsea following a BA(Hons) in Textile design at Central St Martins. Her Masters project investigated how domestic spaces can offer escapes for future pandemics, as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic which saw a third of the global population in lockdown during 2020. This project was one of the few selected for UAL’s 2020 promotional campaign. She recently won an Interior Design competition to design and install The Shangri-La at The Shard 2019 ‘Glass’ Christmas Tree which was featured in 5 publications, including Forbes and Conde Nast. Sarah has freelanced on the design of a Boutique Hotel in Bucharest, sought out and completed residential work experience with Hamid Nicola Katrib in Romania as well as commercial work experience with TP Bennet in London to gain an understanding of different Interior directions. After graduating Sarah has been working as interior Designer at Basha-Franklin www.basha-franklin.com
