Graduates
Former students have come from around the world with varied backgrounds. Some from related industries, many with no design experience, but all with a desire to learn and a passion for design. Our graduates have found continued success in a number of interior design disciplines, including various sectors in design and architectural companies, property development, and in some cases their own practices.
FLAVIA GEYER
Diploma 2020
Flavia is a Business Organisation Specialist starting her career in the hotel industry in Switzerland. Over the years she operated in various roles from team leader to project manager for the opening of the Design Hotel Nomad in Basel. Here she worked with designers from all over the world where she was introduced to the interior design aspects of hotels. Her background as a Hotel Expert has given her a deep understanding of the client’s needs, her knowledge in Business Organisation allows her to work in a structured manner and her leadership experience is helping her to guide through processes and work with different stakeholders. Her creativity and passion for design, combined with her holistic outlook, her spatial imagination and keen eye for detail gives Flavia the belief that we should create spaces of beauty and meaning that respond to human needs and positively impact our mood and wellbeing.
After graduating Flavia moved back to Switzerland and has been working with Harry Gugger in Basel, and has now moved on to set up her own design practice.
